Working on Our Preso for this Friday's New Media & Technology Conference in Frederick, Maryland

I am very excited to give this presentation this Friday, February 19, at the Frederick Chamber of Commerce’s New Media & Technology Conference. It will showcase a lot of information in a short period of time (isn’t that always the challenge of most presentations?)

The most exciting aspect of this presentation for me is that the topic appears to have a lot of interest. The session, entitled Social Media & PR, has been dubbed an advanced topic and I believe has about 38 or so attendees registered.

Given the advanced nature of the session, any social media newbies in the audience (if any) will be encouraged to attend the social media 101 sessions with the ever fabulous Beth Schillaci of Marketing Roadhouse just down the hall (btw, a *huge* warm thank you to Beth who recruited me as a speaker for this event!). This will mean that I’ll be able to dedicate most of the time on topics in more detail than time typically allows.

I am very much looking forward to sharing the presentations and the social media and PR info with the audience. I anticipate substantial conversations, lots of questions and hopefully ample idea exchange.

Usually, the best part about giving these kinds of presentations is that the learning is always a 2-way street; I often learn many new things from the audience just as much as they may learn from me … booooyah!
