Branding & Identity for Historic McFarland House

Overview

Dated,  old logoVintage wedding venue Historic McFarland House (HMH) was in need of a more refined, elegant brand to better connect with prospective brides in search of an upscale destination wedding venue. The previous HMH identity (shown to the right) was dated and not indicative at all of what the lovely event house, constructed in the late 1800s, aspired to be: an elegant, historic event venue for weddings, galas and more.

Approach

By listening to the client’s needs and defining their overall marketing objectives, our team’s creative designers began to work with a variety of elegant typography combinations. The winning combo (which was a strong, smart blend of Mrs. Eaves and Bickham Script Pro), in the end, created the needed elegance and sophistication upgrade the wedding venue proprietor was wanting his business to reflect and portray.

Since its debut and approval, the new brand and identity for HMH has been extremely well received. It displays wonderfully both online and on print and has truly elevated the prestige of the vintage wedding venue to new heights.
